KYK-X fire pump control panel is designed and produced by Shanghai Kaiyuan Pump Industrial Co., Ltd. according to national fire fighting standard architectural design fire prevention code and high civil building design fire prevention code. It has signal interfaces such as on-off control by fire hydrant button, remote control, fire fighting centre control, fire pump operation and fault. It is dedicated to water pump control equipments such as high-low building industry, civil building fire fighting, sprinkle, water curtain, rain shower, fire fighting network voltage stabilization and pressurizing, etc. It can also meet users' different control requirements of fire water pumps.

>>> FUNCTION DESCRIPTION
Water Pump Working Mode
1. One main and one standby:
When controlling 1 and 2 pumps, it can work in two states '1 main and 2 standby' or '2 main and 1 standby'. When the main pump breaks down, the standby pump will start to work automatically. Start manually by panel operation button. If the user requires to use both pumps, it is not necessarily to equip the standby pump.

2. Two mains and one standby:
When controlling 1, 2 and 3 pumps, it can work in three states '1, 2 main and 3 standby' or '2, 3 main and 1 standby' or '1, 3 main and 2 standby'. When the main pump breaks down, the standby pump will start to work automatically. Start manually by panel operation button. If the user requires to use all pumps, it is not necessarily to equip the standby pumps.

3. Three mains and one standby:
When controlling 1, 2, 3 and 4 pumps, it can work in four states '1, 2, 3 main and 4 standby' or '2, 3, 4 main and 1 standby' or '1, 3, 4 main and 2 standby' or '1, 2, 4 main and 3 standby'. When the main pump breaks down, the standby pump will start to work automatically. Start manually by panel operation button. If the user requires to use all pumps, it is not necessarily to equip the standby pumps.

Main Pump And Standby Pump Switch Mode
1. Manual switch:
Main pump and standby pump are switched manually. When the main pump has faults, the standby pump will start to work automatically.
2. Ac automatic alternative switch:
It is proper for the occasion where main pump and standby pump need to work alternatively. Once started, the main pump and standby pump will alternate one time. This type also has a function that the standby pump switches automatically if there is a fault.
3. As timing switch:
It is proper for the occasion where the pumps work frequently, which makes each pump's working time more average and prevents one pump's long time using and huge losses. It is switched at an interval time.

Start-up Mode
1. Direct start:
Full-voltage starting, full-voltage operation, large starting current.
2. Autotransformer start:
Voltage and current will be reduced by autotransformer when starting, and will be restored to rated voltage when operating.
3. Soft start:
Pumps are started by electric soft starter, there is no contact diverter during the start process, and voltage and current will rise smoothly, which will not make huge impact on power grid and pipe networks.

Additional Function
1. Timing start-stop:
Pumps can starts and stops at a predetermined time according to the time which is set by clock operated switches in the control panel.
2. Remote interface:
Electric control panel is equipped with remote monitoring terminals and can convey pumps' working condition to duty room in remote distance in order to be monitored.
3. BA interface:
Electric control panel is equipped with building automatic remote monitoring terminals, showing equipments' working condition and enabling start-stop controls.
4. Dual power:
Electric control panel is connected with dual power supply, which be switched automatically and manually.

>>> APPLICATION SPECIFICATION
Fire pump control panel is control equipment, which is dedicated to fire pump control equipments such as fire hydrant, sprinkle, water curtain and rain shower, etc. It is produced in accordance to national fire design code. It can start fire water pump via manual, automatic and fire-fighting centre remote start. It has a function that can handle faults automatically and has a two way power supply access and operates safety inspection automatically at regular intervals. High-power fire pump can slow down the impact of soft starter to power grids and pipe networks.

Fire jockey and booster pump control panel
"Better regulation" and "High Regulation" stipulates that fire pipe network should guarantee certain pressures in any time in order to meet all the requirements of fire water supply at the beginning. Fire jockey and booster pump control panel is dedicated to fire jockey pump and fire booster pump, which control pump's start-stop or rotating speed by fire pump pipe network pressure control to guarantee the constant high pressure of fire pipe network.

According to architectural water supply fire code, the start-stop frequency of pumps is six to ten times per hour. Taking account of slight leakage of fire pipe network, fire jockey and booster equipments are all equipped with pressure water tanks which maintain pressure in order to prevent pumps frequently starts and stops. After equipped with pressure water tanks, it can also have a function that pressure stabilization, water storage and energy storage.

Integrating two types of controls, it has interlock controls to fire main pumps and pressure stabilization at the same time. Jockey pumps maintain pressure of pipe networks in normal times. When there is a fire alarm signal, jockey pumps have to be stopped to ensure the main pump's fire water supply.

>>>HUMAN-COMPUTER INTERFACE
There are two kinds of configuration industrial human-computer interface. 
1. Text display with simple function (Chinese interface) It can be set up some basic parameters and displays as picture and text forms.
2. Touching-type industrial figure display (touch screen)
There is a 32bit RISC CPU so that the operating speed is fast. Plenty of screenshots can be set up. The system state isdisplayed in the form of image and text combined. The interface communicates via touch screen, PLC (programmable logic controller) and frequency converter. Parameters such as working pressure and flow are set up via the touch screen. The touch screen also displays information on site such as each pump's working condition, real-time pressure, frequency and breakdown, etc. It's easy and simple to handle. The function of replacing control panel improves reliability of the system.

Currently, many pumping stations, water plants and enterprises has formed an international popular industrial Ethernet standard based on TCP/IP, which is applied to remote monitoring operation condition of systems such as pump sets and electric. Field control system has programmable controllers and communication expandable modules and is connected to monitoring network via field bus. It has standard communication interface such as serial RS232/RS485, supports Ethernet and TCP/IP field bus base protocol and can remote control and monitor equipments.
