The incoming water pressure must be lower than the factory start pressure setting for these pumps to function correctly. If your incoming water pressure is higher than the factory start pressure setting then choose a larger pump that has a factory start pressure setting higher than your incoming water pressure.
The internal flow switch will turn the pump on when it detects water flow of 0.75 GPM or greater
